1. Build a pile of paper knots in the middle of the pit
2. Assemble kindling kind of like a jenga tower around the knots
3. Put a good fire lighter into the middle of the tower and paper
4. Light the fire lighter, it should catch onto the paper and then on the jenga tower
5. Once you've got a good fire going put in a bigger log, this should create coals which you can use to continuously burn new big pieces of wood
