Stardew Valley is one of the most addictive games I've ever played.
It has beautiful pixel art and has very deep game mechanics that really hook you in.
At its core it's just a farm simulator and it has all the standard things you'd expect from that.
But you then need to craft things to make your farm better, collect different items to solve missions and all the while make sure you don't pass out from expending too much energy.
It honestly has made me want to have a better farm like garden in my own home.
It's also another indie game made predominately by one developer which is an incredible programming achievement.
I wish there was more games like this in the world.
