Really happy with some new garden boxes I purchased this week. Got them for $70 off Facebook marketplace. Jake helped me pick them up.
I want one as a veggie box. Thinking of maybe growing some cucumber or more tomatoes.
I want another as a flower box. I want to grow geraniums, zinnia and marigolds which all seem like they'll fare pretty well in the summer.
We'll then need to put a bottom layer of cardboard in the boxes for moisture retention (or maybe landscape fabric) before getting some soil delivered. For a cubic metre of soil from the local garden supplies it's $123 including delivery.
Nearer to our engagement party I'll plant some natives into the ground on the left of the new boxes. I'll be one of these options but most likely kangaroo paw.
