Yesterday Was Like A Dream

Friday the 29th of September was like a dream.

We started the day with a hike up Koko Head one of the most challenging but rewarding hikes in O'ahu.

I powered up in around 16 minutes but was buggered.

Me and Emma took some cool photos up top.

We then drove to Hanauma Bay which is probably the most incredible beach I've ever been to.

There are reefs and fish about 10 metres out from the shore which you can snorkel over.

It costs $25 USD to go on the beach and then $20 USD for snorkel hire. It's expensive just to access a beach but it's not just any beach.

I'll post a video of some GoPro footage I took when I have better Wi-Fi as that really shows off what the experience was like. Crystal clear waters, amazing fish and a beautiful clean beach that isn't too overcrowded due to the park rangers limiting the number of people who can access it.

After the beach we chilled for around an hour before heading to a nearby Waikiki sports bar that was showing the Grand Final.

What a game and what a result it was.

Steele Sidebottom's torp from 55 metres out with 4 minutes left will be in my memory forever.

We were sat at a table with 2 ~60 year old Australian women who were off their heads but it made for an enjoyable experience.

What a fucking day!
