Jeep Grand Cherokee Review

To get to the wedding we hired a car and drove from Washington, D.C to the ranch in Virginia.

We were meant to get a small Kia but it was unavailable so the hire company (Budget) ended up letting us take a Jeep Grand Cherokee for the same price.

The thing was an absolute tank.

This worked in our favour as we had heaps of luggage and my mates golf clubs to pack. We could fold down 2 rows of seats and have a giant boot.

The front seats were extremely comfortable.

The car dash was very modern with a big screen for CarPlay. Annoyingly, CarPlay just straight up stopped working as we drove down to the ranch so we ended up using the cars built in navigation. We were eventually able to reset CarPlay but it sucked not having it for a few hours.

For a big ass car it revved pretty hard. When you put your foot down it could move quick.

It was also an experience filling up at the famous Sheetz gas station which turns out is a big deal in Virginia.

Driving on the right hand side of the road isn't too bad especially on rural highways. The hardest part is navigating traffic inner city and making sure you aren't drifting too far right.
