I went a little bit left field with my next switch game and picked up Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze.
It's a beautifully designed platformer with some fun music and chill vibes.
The game is somewhat old (2014) but its style is timeless.
Where I really understood why this game reviewed positively was when the difficulty went up. I found the boss at the end of the second world quite tough. I had to figure out a strategy to progress which I enjoyed a lot.
The standard platform levels have also slowly progressed in difficulty and creativity which is cool to see.
If you're looking for something to play then this is a solid pick.
