We have $1000 to spend on learning and development at work.
Here's what I'm thinking of doing:
- Learning some design principles: this seems like a really good course on design and I think it will improve my feedback I can provide for the work that the design team do, I'll be able be more critical and suggest improvements
- Learning databases and SQL better: this Curious Moon book seems to have some hype to it, doesn't just seem like a boring SQL source book, seems like there's a bit more to it, the Imposter's Handbook also seems pretty cool, some good topics are covered (database theory, bash)
Whilst researching how to learn SQL I did come across these 2 free resources which I think could be good to do.
