Rings of Power for me was entertaining but extremely disappointing at the same time. Don't get me wrong, I sat on the couch for an hour every week and there were some good moments; the Elrond and Durin interactions, the Southlands battle scene and the visuals of NĂºmenor were great!
But the pacing and general character development was lacking. Basically all of Galadriel's scenes were kind of weird. A lot of the scenes with the Harfoots felt like filler. The payoff with the Harfoots and the wizard was also somewhat lacklustre. Lot's of little details felt off. This video sums up my feelings.
I was hyped to see Annatar but clearly this isn't going to happen. They could have potentially stuck more to the books.
I'll be going into season 2 less excited than I was for season 1. I'll still be watching though đŸ˜†.
