Had a golf club fitting session last week. Hit a range of clubs (driver, woods, irons, wedges). For me the irons would be the biggest win. Whilst the loft was totally different I was hitting 7 iron 20 metres longer with ease.
So now begs the question:
When can I afford a new set of irons?
Probably not for a while.
I also literally don't own a wood so that might be good to get too. In saying that, I often can hit a 5 iron with a bit of penetration so maybe a wood still isn't a key item to have in the bag.
