My Lawn

A new house meant a few new exciting tools were able to be purchased.

I got my wish of having a backyard with big lawn. A big lawn means mowing and I did not own a mower prior to the house.

So I did a bit of googling, talked to a few people and eventually went to Bunnings and spoke to the guy in the mower aisle.

I was pretty certain I wanted something Ryobi and something electric and that led me to purchasing the following:

1. Ryobi 36V HP™ 46cm 6.0Ah Brushless Cordless Lawn Mower Kit
2. Ryobi 36V 2.0Ah 28cm/33cm Straight Shaft Cordless Line Trimmer Kit

I'm 4 mows in and I'm really impressed with the performance particularly of the mower. I love:

1. How lightweight it is
2. How quickly it starts
3. How quiet it is, I can have my AirPods in and perfectly listen to a podcast
4. How much time I've been able to mow for without the battery going flat

The charging is as simple as charging your phone. I've been charging after every mow so that when it's time to mow again I'll have enough juice.

I'd like to improve the health of the lawn this spring and the mower will be a big part of that.
