Trying to get work to send me a monitor for my home office. I'm currently using a 14-inch MacBook Pro with an M1 Pro chip. My budget is $1000 AUD. The sad thing is really all I can find within this budget that works well with MacOS is this.
There's really nothing else in that price range that's good. This is why a lot of people still buy iMac's. In some scenarios in just makes more sense to get the all in one.
I am still somewhat leaning towards buying the Apple Studio Display. MKBHD makes some good points in an excellent review. It's expensive. It has some issues (camera, user upgradable) but it does most of the "Apple ecosystem" things really well (displays perfectly, good speakers).
I'm still a little unsure of what to do.
