iPhone 13 mini Review

A quick little iPhone 13 mini review. First up here's what it looks.

It feels so small in the hand. It really is a throwback to when all phones were tiny.

Using the phone feels different even to using my current iPhone XR in terms of speed. Apps open lightning fast.

The camera is really nice and it's perhaps the selling point of upgrading.

You have both the ultra wide

and the standard camera

which do an excellent job in many different situations.

This photo is honestly one of the best I've ever taken.

Note that these photos were taken when me and Emma were in isolation. Taking photos of snails after a storm was potentially the highlight of the day.

So far so good with battery life. Emma is upgrading from an iPhone 8 that had a very worn battery and thus this has been a big upgrade for her. Will be interesting to see how the battery is going in a years time.

Seeing the quality of the photos and the processing power of the phone is making me want to upgrade but I need to be patient. I should get another year of use out of the XR.
