Last night some of my mates got together and played Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Myself and my friend Aidan were in one house (with a single Switch) and another friend Daniel was at his house so we needed to use Switch Online. Sadly the online service is lacking 😭 here are some of my thoughts:
- We were unable to play with all 3 of us in 1 game, the problem was that Aidan and myself couldn't play in a single private arena battle with Daniel, this was really annoying, so we had to revert to a 1 on 1, still fun but not as good as a 3 person battle
- The online play was extremely laggy, it worked well for 1 battle but every subsequent battle for the rest of the night was plagued by lag, it's disappointing as for a paid service and for something as popular Smash Brother's it should be lag free
