I've watched a couple of movies in the past few days that bring back memories of my childhood.
Firstly there is The Karate Kid. It's such a classic movie filled with heart warming moments. I love the scenes when Daniel LaRusso is training, the clothes that all the characters wear throughout the film and the look on Mr. Miyagi's face when Daniel wins the tournament. It invokes great memories of playing sports as a kid and growing up.
Secondly, I saw Superbad after listening to The Rewatchables podcast. It was the most quotable movie of my high school experience. I was in year eight when the movie was released so you can imagine how well some of these themes went down amongst my class.
Thirdly, I watched The Karate Kid II which is a much worse movie overall compared to the first two listed here. It is still quite entertaining and has some great moments.
I haven't quite finished off The Benchwarmers as yet but this is another movie I adore. I would have watched this movie at least 20 times when I was young and often with my brother.
