It's been interesting to hear all this talk about Electron in the past week. Clearly there's some native things you don't get with Electron for free but a "good app" is obviously possible to build regardless of framework. These are some great tips on how to get that native feel and it's often as easy as applying basic CSS.
I honestly would love to build a small app with Electron similar to my experiments with React Native last year. There a lot of great Mac apps that are Electron and I'm sure it will only get better as time goes on and the framework gets more mature.
