Day One Metadata

One of my favorite things I've liked about Day One so far is the way in which I can easily archive media by date. So often in the past other people are the one's taking photos or videos from their own devices and I want to get this media from them. Depending on the platform in which those other people use to send these assets, metadata is often completely screwed up and your photo client will be a jumbled mess in terms of timeline. Day One prevents this jumbled mess by asking the user if they want to preserve the metadata; you can just opt out of doing this and the date will be whatever entry you're currently on.
