2006 (13)

So much changed this year. I started at a new school. I went to Europe twice (once on a 6 week athletics tour). There was a lot of changes and things happening.

2007 (14)

I was the "cheeky" trying to be cool kid in year 8. I think I tried to learn how to skate on this holiday in Inverloch. The long hair was a vibe though.

2008 (15)

In year 9 we had a learning journeys program where we all had to pick something to "learn". My "learning" was a bit of a cop out and I did footy umpiring coaching. Pictured is me doing fake "coaching" to my student umpire Jake.

2009 (16)

At the end of 2009 we went to the USA for the first time. This is me at TD Garden in Boston.

2010 (17)

The highlight of this year was going to China on a study tour. I probably shouldn't have been learning Chinese still because it was such a hard subject but I really enjoyed my classmates and wanted to go on this trip.

2011 (18)

I finished high school. I got a decent ATAR and was able to go to Melbourne University. I was proud of that. We went on a family holiday at the end of the year to Kingscliff.

2012 (19)

First year university involved a lot of parties and going out. I played footy in the U19s which I enjoyed a lot. I also clearly had really bad skin.

Emma took this photo of Boots at Bonbeach the other day. It's one of my favourites ever of him.

This is the exactly the kind of thing I need to keep practising with Boots.

The reward is being able to go somewhere he wants. He should never pull.

The golf schedule needs some tweaking. It should get some fixes when the LIV deal happens.

This TikTok got me listening to If I Fell by The Beatles on repeat. It is an underrated track from a chords and harmony perspective.

I feel like I discover more Beatles songs these days from their 1962-1965 period. There's some gems in these albums.

Interesting podcast this week.

The Petracca trade rumours are fascinating and it will be a huge story all summer as to where he goes.

The MCG toilet stories are also factual.

My favourite podcast network is Relay. Their podcasts have got me through long drives and work days. 10 years is an amazing effort.

Apple is doing some really shoddy things to developers over the past 5 years. It's a shame nothing is changing despite all the bad press and brand damage.
