An Interesting Week For Boots

He was just the worst this week. He has:

  1. Chewed the couch
  2. Destroyed my strawberries and cucumbers
  3. Dug multiple holes
  4. Cut his little pad open from digging (he now has a limp)

But he's still the cutest boy in the world.

This seems worth a watch. My mum was actually the one who passed on the recommendation. Potentially some Peaky Blinders vibes.

Excited for this! It's shaping up very nicely.

The story of VFL Park is fascinating. It really was a huge blunder from a transport perspective.

Caddy#caddyserver.com

I still really want to try Caddy out sometime. It seems like a much nicer alternative to nginx but like they always say if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Couch Dog

Boots has continued his bad ways this week. He has chewed another hole in the couch cushion while we were sleeping.

I have no idea what has gotten into him.

These Random Golf Club videos are so damn good. Great commentary and well edited. They always get some great personalities.

Strawberry Sniffer

Boots has a new nickname: the Strawberry Sniffer.

Just as I posted we had some ripening strawberries Boots decided he would eat them.

Me and Emma went out on Saturday night and this is when the crime was committed. I have footage from the Ring camera.

At 6:27PM the strawberries are all good (see the white netting at the top left).

At 7.27PM Boots is at the strawberries and you can see he's destroyed the netting and the lattice.

He is so bad.

Luckily the strawberry plants are still in tact and I think they'll grow back. I might need to put some fencing around the garden box to make it Boots proof.

Golf Handicap

I'm trending in the right direction with my handicap. These are my scores from the past few months.

I can see in my last few competition 18 hole rounds my Stableford scoring was:

32
35
29
31
42

The 42 round was a bit of an anomaly as I was putting amazing that day for some reason. The other rounds have had some ups and downs but overall trending up.

I feel like I'm driving the ball well. I'm pretty consistently hitting a slight fade around ~200 metres which works for me.

My irons are okay. I have some inconsistencies but I go through patches where I'm striping it and hitting good shots. I hit a couple of flush pitching wedges yesterday to give me good birdie putt chances which I was stoked with.

My chipping is also okay. Yesterday I chipped quite a bit and really only had 1 bad chip.

My putting needs work. I need to be nailing the short putts more frequently and thats what will take a 32 round like yesterday to a 36.

I need more 36 scores for my handicap to drop.
