This is one of the coolest tournaments the PGA puts on.

Golf is one of the only sports where this format is possible.

Three Games

I'm loving playing The Messenger right now. It's a phenomenal game. It's the kind of game that I'd like to make if I had game development skills. I'll write a full review when I'm done with it.

The 3 games I'd like to play subsequently to The Messenger are as follows:

  • Metal Gear Solid
  • Chrono Trigger
  • Undertale

Acorn 8#daringfireball.net

I'm thinking about trying out the Acorn 8 image editor.

Being good with a professional image editor might be just a general good skill to have. The help guide seems really solid.

Plain Text Drawings#monodraw.helftone.com

When writing some documentation for work this week I purchased Monodraw to create some plain text diagrams.

It's an awesome tool. I kind of want to invest some time into it to get better at plain text drawings. There's an art form to it.

I also want to sometimes do some plain text diagrams on the blog. They output really nicely in code blocks.

Don Bluth#tiktok.com

It's pretty incredible how Don Bluth Entertainment were able to take on Disney in the 80s. It shows how small agile teams with lower budgets can take on the big boys in creative projects. The same principles apply to software development generally.
