Bogey Golfer

I'm almost an official bogey golfer. I had a decent round yesterday of 94 for a stableford score of 34. My GA handicap is now 18.1.

I struck the ball well. I was getting to a lot of greens in regulation. My putting really left a lot to be desired. It could have been a sub 90 round with some better putting.

Animal Well Final Review

Really enjoyed Animal Well and have played the entire main game. I know there's a lot more bonus game things to do too but haven't gotten too deep into that as yet.

Some thoughts:

  • The puzzles were all excellent and provided a good level of challenge
  • The main game was pretty short, which makes sense given it's one developer who worked on every aspect of the game
  • The tools you get throughout the game are excellent
  • The visuals and art style continue to be fantastic
  • I probably relied on walkthroughs a little much, I could have figured out more of the puzzles myself

I'm now thinking of giving Hogwarts Legacy a go again. It's been sitting around unplayed for a while and I feel like it's finally time to commit to it.

House Of The Dragon Season Two#binge.com.au

Watching House of the Dragon season two has been a pleasure. The show continues to go from strength to strength. I look forward to my Monday nights because I know a new episode will be out.

The battle scene in the recently released episode four was especially good. The way they've animated the dragons is perfect.

Winters Day In The Dandenongs

Me, Emma and Boots headed up to the Dandenong's on Saturday.

It was a cold day but perfect for a nice walk and some lunch at the pub.

We went to the Old Olinda Golf Course which is now a giant off leash dog area. It was cool seeing the layout of the course given that many of the holes had massive gradient and slope changes down the fairway.

Boots had an amazing time running, sniffing and chasing after sticks. We also went down a bit of a trail that connects to the park.

We then went to the Micawber Tavern where we enjoyed an elite parma and some Guinness.

A perfect day out!
