These are the things I'm currently working on:

• Driver: hit it straight or fade it, aim up the centre of the fairway, picking a target, swing to that target, have an open stance, ensure chest stays in line with the club to get a proper turn, don't hit it too hard
• Result: the ball should go straight or have a slight fade if things go right, never need to to the left or right of the fairway, just aim straight
• Irons: hit punchy shots, keep chest in line with club to get proper turn
• Result: ball should go straight
• Chipping: generally hitting a low punchy chip (8, 9 or PW) works better
• Result: just getting the ball on the green for a 2 putt opportunity is better than sculling it across the green, if you have to go over a bunker then of course you need a 60 most likely
• Putting: make sure to move upwards on the ball in the downswing, tilt body upwards
• Result: with this approach my line and pace control has been much better, not many 3 putts

Other things:

• My grip is in a solid place, I don't think that much needs to change
• I probably still don't really need to use hybrid or 3 wood much, maybe practise with the hybrid at the range a little bit, it would help on some of the shorter par 4s

This is a really cool piece of tech and I'm glad it's finally coming to Australia.

Some playtime with Boots in spring.

The map is a couple of years old but it's a fascinating look at the diversity of suburbs in Australia.

The map of Melbourne is what you'd expect:

1. The coast line and south east is England
2. The east is China
3. The north is Italy
4. The west is India

Some other notes:

1. The inner west is Vietnam
2. The deep north is India, also some good representation from Iraq

We live in an England suburb.

This did not age well.

Not great form from the Hawthorn boys but the kids will understand one day.

Surely they should have known: B&F the night before probably means no commitments the following day.
