I started the game just before we came to Bali and finished it today.

What a remarkable experience. One of the best games I've ever played. A true piece of art.

I have a number of reviews and thoughts on the game.

We're arrived in Uluwatu today which means new scooter day. I've been driving a Honda Vario for 2 months and whilst it's a nice little scooter it's not too powerful especially with 2 people on the bike.

Today I've upgraded to Yamaha NMAX which is a slightly more powerful and larger bike than the Vario. It feels like a nicer more high quality bike; from the brakes being a lot stiffer to the suspension actually doing something compared to the Vario.

I've loved driving scooters so much in Bali that I'm considering getting a motorbike license when I get back to Australia. There is nothing like cruising along a beautiful driving road with the wind in your face; especially when it's warm everyday like it is in Bali. The Top Gear guys were on to something.

Having a full motorbike license is beneficial when travelling for a few reasons:

1. I'm fully insured and covered if anything (touch wood) happens
2. Me and Emma would love to go to Italy or France one day and having a scooter there would be an awesome way to get around the country side
3. It's a cheap second vehicle which on the odd occasion we do need back home

One final photo dump from Ubud.

We did the Campuhan Ridge Walk on a humid Wednesday afternoon. It was a short hike but a nice little hour or so spent outside. The temple at the start of the walk is really cool.

On Friday evening we had a tour of the Mount Batur black lava area. It was really peaceful (we were the only people there) watching the sun go down. It was kind of wild being so close to an active volcano.

Ubud had a wet afternoon.

I added cover art to my games page today and I have to say I'm rather happy with how it turned out.

I'd like to think someone will look at all this stuff one day and find it interesting.

I agree with Gruber's takes here. I gave it a demo and it wasn't a great experience. Maybe it works for some people though.
