The Rona 20s#write.as

This requires a rethinking of risk. Many people have wanted to postpone activities – family visits, travel, community events – until “after the pandemic.” When there was a reasonable expectation that the pandemic would have a definite end date – either because of efforts of social distancing and quarantining or because of vaccines, this thinking made sense. But now, with the pandemic likely to outlast the life expectancy of the participants, it no longer does. There are still ways to mitigate risk. For example, it may make sense to delay a family gathering a few weeks until the latest wave has crested. But saying you’ll do something after the pandemic is like saying you’ll start writing your novel next year: you’re effectively planning for it not to happen.

This paragraph is how everyone should be living their lives now. You can't keep putting things off.
