Golf Club Grips Again#www.golfdistillery.com

I'm still struggling with my grip but have read and watched more videos on the topic.

One video was interesting in the sense that I just need to focus on the left hand squeezing the pinkie and the ball of the hand whilst the right hand puts pressure on the thumb and the index finger.

I'm not sure if this is perfect advice and kind of goes against what was taught to me in the lesson.

The article I've shared above had a video in it that described a more traditional grip.

The interlock grip I think for me is the most comfortable. It's also the most traditional grip and the way most coaches recommend you start with as a beginner.

The problem I've faced is that I get a blister on my right ring finger. This seems to be something other beginner golfers also deal with.

There's two potential fixes here:

  1. My interlock is too tight, that can be looser
  2. Use athletic tape to protect that area as best you can

It also seems like a lot of golfers get a callus there and you just deal with it.
